Now, the problem is that the aforementioned auto-completion script is written in Python 2.X and as a result, I have had no luck in running it on my machine (using Python 3.4.1 圆4) or creating the python.xml file. I've created an import list of all the modules from the Python Modules Index. I did a bit of digging around and chanced upon an auto-completion generating Python script (which generates a python.xml file which I can then drop into the plugins/APIs folder of Notepad++) called Notepad++ Auto-completion for Python. While comparing Notepad++ with IDLE, a feature that I found lacking most in Notepad++ is Python auto-completion and call tips. I've found Notepad++ to be a text editor that fits my basic scripting/learning needs. I am an absolute novice at Python 3 programming.
